I build and operate production software for small businesses, and I am usually the one who deploys it, watches it break, and fixes it. I built a multi-tenant CRM tested against a distributor's 2,800 real customer records, backed by 2,200+ automated tests, and I run a point-of-sale system live on a client's register. Before writing software for distribution and retail operations, I managed one. I work AI-assisted and treat generated output as draft work: verified against the code, proven with tests, shipped in small reviewable pieces.

Locus

Multi-tenant CRM and delivery tracking

Django backend delivered to the client as a frozen Windows desktop binary, so it runs unattended on their own machine. A language model sits behind a one-method provider interface and turns free-text customer messages into structured order lines, with failover between providers.

Tabula

Point of sale, inventory and cost of goods

Offline-capable progressive web app running on the register a café takes money with. Versioned service worker, recipe-level ingredient depletion, and a deploy process that snapshots the database and records a rollback commit before every push.

Experience

Software Engineer

2024 – Present

Self-directed, with paying clients

  • Designed, built and shipped two production systems end to end: a multi-tenant CRM with delivery tracking, and a point-of-sale with inventory and cost-of-goods reporting. The point-of-sale runs a paying client's register; the CRM was built for, and tested on the real data of, an LPG distributor.
  • Integrated a language model into live order intake behind a swappable provider interface, parsing real customer messages into structured orders, with API failover and a settings-editable prompt so business rules change without a rebuild.
  • Own the full delivery path: migrations, packaging a Django app into a frozen Windows binary, hash-verified releases, snapshot-first deploys with a recorded rollback target, and independent verification of the live artifacts over SSH.
  • Run and diagnose the systems in production. Traced duplicate customer orders to a database lock during a launch-time backup, and fixed it with an idempotency key arbitrated by a database constraint.
  • Built the supporting infrastructure: private mesh networking between client sites, unattended always-on hosting proven across reboot and crash, and a provisioning process for putting new machines on the network.

Branch Manager

2023 – 2026

PryceGas · Baguio City Branch

  • Ran full branch operations: staff coordination, daily workflow, and performance monitoring for an LPG distribution business.
  • Managed inventory of LPG products and supplies, tracking stock levels and coordinating replenishment to reduce shortages.
  • Processed and deposited payments for every delivery haul to the plant, maintaining financial records with zero discrepancies.
  • Handled customer communications, complaints and service coordination, and prepared operational reporting to company standards.
  • This is the domain Locus was built for. Having dispatched the deliveries and reconciled the cash myself is why the software matches how the work is actually done.

Operations Supervisor

2020 – 2023

The Baker's Warehouse

  • Streamlined office workflows and reorganised processes to improve team efficiency.
  • Maintained accurate business records through consistent data entry, documentation and file auditing.
  • Managed customer transactions and end-of-shift cash drawer balancing with zero discrepancies.
  • Handled phone-based customer enquiries and coordinated with the delivery team for accurate, on-time fulfilment.
